Leader Yukio Edano and International Director Akiko Kamei were invited to a luncheon held at the Norwegian ambassador's residence on February 14, joined by Ambassadors and representatives of Scandinavian and Baltic states. The Ambassadors of Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Iceland, Norway and Finland, as well as the Charge d'affaires of Lithuania and Counselors of Estonia and Norway, gathered to discuss the political circumstances and prospects of Japan, the enhancement of social welfare and renewable energy, and women's political participation.
