On March 4th, a high level delegation of the National League for Democracy (NLD) of Myanmar, led by Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Vice Chairman; Mr. Myat Thu, Minister of Planning and Finance; Mr. Myo Thit, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; and H.E. Mr. Thurain Thant Zin, Ambassador of Myanmar to Tokyo, paid a visit to the executives of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP). The delegation was received by Yukio Edano, Leader of the CDP; Akira Nagatsuma, Executive Acting Leader; Tetsuro Fukuyama, Secretary-General; Seiji Ohsaka, Chairperson of the Policy Research Council; Akiko Kamei, Director-General of the International Bureau; and Koichi Matsudaira, Assistant Chairperson of the Policy Research Council. The parties confirmed the significance of continued promotion of human and economic exchange between Myanmar and Japan.
